Dick O’Riordan: NCH brings its music ambitions into the classrooms

The National Concert Hall is partnering with the Royal Irish Academy of Music to invite up to eight primary schools around Ireland to participate in a new series of music and ensemble workshops

It would be a mistake to think of that historic building on Earlsfort Terrace as just a presentation stage for great concerts across a vast landscape of music. It is, in fact, the beating heart of music in Ireland, but also a powerhouse for all that goes into creating music through various means and intentions.
