“If at first you don't succeed, try, try again,” the ancient proverb goes. Robyn Lynch, from Baldoyle in Dublin, took the advice to heart. When she did not get enough points in her Leaving Cert for the course in the National College of Art and Design that she wanted, she enrolled in a portfolio course and tried again the next year. “I got accepted the second time around,” she says.
