If you want to have a pint with a justice of the US Supreme Court, Clarence Thomas, bon vivant and a raconteur of some renown, is by all accounts the best person for the job. Unlike the irascible Samuel Alito or the prissy Amy Coney Barrett, Thomas has a reputation as a gregarious, affable guest.
