Various issues with my gluten-free requests, combined with food being late, not appearing at all, and being underwhelming when it did, made for a pretty poor experience

“Is this the loudest restaurant in Dublin?”, I shout to my companion as we twist into our seats at one of the capital's newest restaurants. He doesn’t acknowledge me, because he can’t hear me. We'd probably have a better chance of a decent chat in Coppers, so loud is Chequer Lane.
