It was a horrible experience from start to finish. The food was terrible. The service was offhand. The place didn’t seem clean. The whole thing was totally overpriced. Did I complain? Absolutely not. The reluctance to tell anyone we are unhappy about anything is not an exclusively Irish trait, but it is alive and well in me.
