On his second album released this year, US musician/songwriter Jack White presents a placid yin to the frantic yang of his first, Fear of the Dawn. If you were asked which suited him best as a person, you would be conflicted. Fear of the Dawn was released on the day he married (for the third time) and represents, musically at least, the guitar-heavy storm before the calm.
