The shoe and handbag entrepreneur reveals her dream dinner party guests, her motto for life and the most she’s ever spent on footwear
Raised in Thomastown, Kilkenny, Nicki Hoyne began her career in sales and marketing, working with brands including Calvin Klein, Balenciaga, Diageo and Nintendo. In 2014, Hoyne launched My Shining Armour, an online accessories store, which won Image Magazines Online Boutique of the year in 2018. More recently, Hoyne has emerged with her own shoe and handbag brand, Nicki Hoyne, available from nickihoyne.com, and focusing on sustainable products, made from 100 per cent leather.
