Whoever fills the post must truly love Dublin and have its residents’, workers’ and tourists’ needs to the fore if the city is to retain its appeal as a great place to live, work and visit
The way other people follow the appointment of the new Spurs manager or host of The Late Late Show is how I will be glued to the selection of the next chief executive of Dublin City Council. The top job will be vacant in September and the official appointment process begins then.
