A stress-filled shopping trip can be lightened simply by tilting your head skyward to bring the capital’s wonderful unspoiled architecture into view

I’m sure there is a period of parenting when a trip into Dublin city with your children is an enjoyable, relaxing endeavour. That period is not, however, when one of them has just mastered walking and now sees the buggy as a personal insult and the other has just acquired his first pair of runners with flashing lights on the soles.
