DJ Stephen Byrne: Scandinavian artists are just too good at making people dance
The 8Radio presenter’s show Perfect Cadence eschews the traditional playlist model of mainstream radio to showcase completely new songs
“I love when you turn on the radio and hear something new that you instantly adore,” Stephen Byrne, editor of GoldenPlec magazine and a presenter with the Dublin-based station 8Radio, says. “Then the DJ tells you who they are. You go straight to your Spotify, favourite the song and slowly but surely you get immersed in that act’s world.”
