Having a life in music comes with a certain responsibility, according to the Bulgarian conductor Delyana Lazarova: “To inspire people to discover all that music has to offer.” Lazarova is currently doing just that as assistant conductor (to Mark Elder) at the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester, a position she landed after winning a competition two years ago. On September 18 she will conduct this internationally renowned ensemble at the National Concert Hall in Dublin.
