Russian Vladimir Fedoseev scored the best result of his career in February, winning the Aeroflot Open ahead of dozens of grandmasters. The 22-year-old will be in action in the Dortmund Super Tournament in July. Fedoseev displayed impressive technical skills throughout, and generated a striking attack in the endgame against Maxim Matlakov, a player rated over 2700.
