RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under

RuPaul’s Drag Race provided a much-needed light during the gloomy winter months of lockdown, as the US and UK iterations of the show ran simultaneously. While fans were enjoying the charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent of this year’s contestants, RuPaul was in New Zealand filming yet another reality show. Initially announced as a solely Australian version, production was moved to New Zealand due to Covid-19 restrictions. For the first week, it’s a hometown homage, as the queens showcase their personalities at the ‘get to know you’ ball. Guest judges will include Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue and Taika Waititi.
