World Bank: Cork easiest place in Ireland to resolve business disputes

The research found Ireland’s civil courts to be outdated, costly and slow

Cork is the easiest place to resolve a commercial dispute in Ireland, a World Bank report has found, while Limerick is one of the most costly.

The first report of its kind, the Doing Business in Ireland study measured the efficiency of the courts for businesses in different cities throughout the country and found distinct strengths and weaknesses in each.

Overall, the research found Ireland’s civil courts to be outdated, costly and slow.
