Time running out to challenge Leaving Cert results, students told

Legal experts warn students wanting to catch CAO offers need to apply for a judicial review this coming week

Leaving Cert students will be able to see the grades their schools awarded them on September 14 and the second round of CAO offers are due to come out on September 20

There is a small window of opportunity for Leaving Cert students to legally challenge their results, legal specialists have said.

“If you are worth your salt, you are going to be applying straight away to the courts looking for leave to take a judicial review early next week,” John Temple, a barrister specialising in data protection, told the Business Post.
