Second Web Summit co-founder sues Paddy Cosgrave over alleged minority shareholder oppression

Daire Hickey, a co-founder of Web Summit, is suing Paddy Cosgrave over alleged minority shareholder oppression.

Hickey, who retains a seven percent share in Web Summit, has made a series of allegations in a affidavit filed in the High Court. He claims Cosgrave has displayed “disreputable conduct” which has undermined the Web Summit brand and that a concerted strategy led by Cosgrave forced him out of the company.
