Revenue initiates legal action against property company Iput

Case concerns dispute between tax authority and Iput over latter’s entitlement to recover Vat

LinkedIn’s new European headquarters at Wilton Park in Dublin 2 is part of Iput’s large portfolio of commercial properties.

The Revenue Commissioners have initiated legal action in the High Court against Iput, the property company which is the largest owner of offices in Dublin, court records show.

The Business Post understands that the case relates to a dispute between Iput and Revenue over the former’s entitlement to recover Vat.

Iput does not benefit from any favourable Vat treatment in relation to its investment property activities.
