Law Society dismisses Isme complaint against solicitor

Intervention by Law Society not justified, says director of regulation

The Law Society has rejected a business group’s complaint about a solicitor who was criticised in court by a judge during a personal injuries case.

Mr Justice Michael Twomey highlighted the role of Limerick solicitor Gerard O’Neill in the High Court in the case of a “fraudulent personal injuries claim” by a woman who said she suffered back pain after a car was rear-ended.
