Zozimus lives again in Dublin as Zozzy TV

Giant screens showing YouTube-style videos of ordinary people singing, dancing, or just talking will be vying for the attention of shoppers in the capital this Christmas.

The screens represent the trial of a new kind of interactive broadcast technology, called Zozzy TV, which has been developed in conjunction with the Dublin City Business Association. The name Zozzy was derived from Zozimus, the Dublin street versifier whose real name was Michael Moran, and who died in 1846.
