The president of Dublin Zoo has resigned because he was unhappy about the speed of changes to the zoo's corporate and management structure, as required by company law.

The president of Dublin Zoo has resigned because he was unhappy about the speed of changes to the zoo's corporate and management structure, as required by company law.

Brian (Barry) Murphy ended his 11-year association with the zoo when he resigned as president of its council 10 days ago. He told the zoo's secretary, Joe Kearney, that he believed the zoo was not revising its corporate structures quickly enough.
