Mobile software firm Zamano has established a new joint venture with a Dublin design company in a bid to win a slice of the smartphone market.

AIM-listed Zamano announced six-monthly results last week that saw revenues plunge to €13.3 million in the first half of this year, down from €23.7 million during the first six months of 2008.
