Young Scientists sent to start-up bootcamp

The BT event aims to help second level students gain a practical understanding of what it takes to bring an idea from concept to market, writes Emmet Ryan.

Agroup of 29 students who participated in the BT Young Scientist event took part in a competition in UCD last week to hone their business skills.

The BT Bootcamp saw teams of between three and five secondary school students develop business ideas around concepts that were presented at the Young Scientist exhibition in January.

The competitors included this year's Young Scientist winner, Paul Clarke.
