Glanbia, the listed Irish food group, will appear in the High Court this week to defend a multi-million-euro legal action taken against it by Danone, the French dairy giant.

Danone is suing Glanbia in the Commercial Division of the High Court following a dispute over Glanbia’s new Yoplait Essence range of yogurt drinks. The Irish company stands to lose tens of millions of euro if it loses the case.
