Pharmaceutical company Wyeth has been forced to suspend the distribution of female oral contraceptive products after a crackdown by the Irish regulator.
The Irish Medicines Board (IMB) found that some of the processes at the Wyeth plant in Newbridge, Co Kildare, were in breach of compliance.
The breaches were identified in February and led to the suspension of some batches of Wyeth's products.
