More than 1,000 musicians, officials and delegates have assembled in Dublin for the week-long Ninth World Harp Congress, which begins today.

The congress, which is held every third year, is probably the biggest musical event in the world dedicated to a single instrument.

The central venue for the event is the campus of University College Dublin, where concerts, seminars and master classes will be held daily in the O'Reilly Hall, the Astra Hall and the Arts...
