Gardaí are investigating a complaint made after a greyhound won more than €22,000 in the industry’s biggest race.

The Irish Greyhound Board allowed the entry of a greyhound called Tyrur Sugar Ray into the Irish Derby final last month in Shelbourne Park in Dublin. The dog finished second, winning €22,500 in prize money.

A greyhound breeder has made a formal complaint to Gardaí in Limerick about an alleged breach of breeding regulations...
