Each year, as I formulate my predictions for the year ahead in wine, I take a quick check back in order to see how accurate my prophecies had been for the year before.

Last year I predicted that Chinese acquisitions of Bordeaux and Burgundy châteaux would snowball, and I think we can chalk that up as a win, as nearly every month last year, a new Chinese entity snapped up an interest in a winery....
