Cloudy Bay is without doubt the most famous New Zealand winery, but it has arguably become the most famous New World wine of them all. It unleashed an ocean of sauvignon blanc on the world, and along with Penfolds Grange, Château Montelena and Staggs Leap, it formed the foundation stone for a multibillion dollar global business and a cultural revolution.
