A woman whose husband pledged his share account as security for a €5 million property loan has lost her High Court claim to be entitled to half the portfolio.

A woman whose husband pledged his share account as security for a €5 million property loan has lost her High Court claim to be entitled to half the portfolio.

Carmel Patterson claimed that she was entitled to at least half of the Goodbody Stockbrokers account which her husband, William, had given as security for a loan from AIB.
