White goods, Black Friday and a no-shop appliance retailer

Appliances Delivered has taken the market by storm, despite having no high street presence, writes Tina-Marie O’Neill

Perhaps it’s a sign of the times, but despite being one of the busiest appliance retailers in the country, you won’t find any Appliances Delivered (or AD) outlets anywhere.

Not having a physical store hasn’t stopped the country’s first online-only appliance merchant from taking the market by storm. It sells about 1,400 washing machines a month and has been in operation since the beginning of the year.
