It seems that Fianna Fáil has finally realised that it must communicate better, but exactly what information does it intend to get across?
A battered and uncertain Fianna Fáil party gathered last week in Dublin after the disasters of the local, European and by-election defeats. It is now a party that is deeply unsure of the present and fearful for the future.
In public, some tried to console themselves, saying that the party had been here before - in the 2004 local elections, it suffered a similar massacre. But really, they know that this isn’t 2004.
