More than 20,000 visitors are expected to visit New Ross, Co Wexford next Saturday to commemorate the visit of US president John F Kennedy, which took place 50 years ago this month.

The biggest gathering of the Kennedy family will also take place, as 30 members of the late president's family gather at their ancestral home. His sister, Jean Kennedy Smith, a former US ambassador to Ireland, will take ashore the Emigrant Flame, which will have travelled...
