Western office rents lag behind the capital
At about €350 per square metre, office rents in Galway and Limerick are roughly half as expensive as those in Dublin, writes Donal Buckley
Galway and Limerick office rents are playing catch-up with those in Cork, but rents in the three regional cities are still about half of the €700 per square metre prime headline rents in Dublin.
Galway recorded the lowest vacancy rate and, consequently, the strongest rate of rental inflation in the last 18 months. However, despite the opportunity which these figures suggest, Galway appears to have the smallest office development pipeline.
