Investors keen to take advantage of the downturn in the US property market should consider buying in cities such as Seattle, San Franciso and Washington, according to research from the Urban Land Initiative and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

However investors will need to choose wisely, because the Emerging Trends in Real Estate report predicts that both the financial and property markets in the US will bottom out in 2009 and flounder for much of 2010, with ongoing drops...
