A series of pretty, brick-fronted houses make up Ceannt Fort, formerly known as the Mount Brown McCaffrey’s Estate in Kilmainham in Dublin 8.

The estate, which fronts onto Mount Brown and backs onto the grounds of St James’s Hospital, was one of Dublin’s first social housing scheme projects, and was built between 1917 and 1923.
