Mozambique focussed mining company Kenmare Resources saw profits fall in the first half of 2013 due to lower average market prices, primarily as a result of weaker market conditions.
The company recorded an operating profit for the first half of 2013 of $6.9 million, down from $47 million in the first half of 2012.
Nevertheless, production volumes of the titanium feedstocks, Heavy Mineral Concentrate (HMC) and ilmenite, from its Moma mine increased by 24 per cent and 9 per cent....
