We must learn from Inishowen

If we want to avoid tragedies like last Sunday’s, hard lessons about road safety must be taken on board, writes Kate Heaney in Donegal

As the people of Donegal’s Inishowen peninsula reflect this weekend on one of the most tragic weeks in its history, questions have begun to be raised about road safety in the county.

Eight men died in the horrific crash at Glasmullan near Clonmany last Sunday night - seven of whom were all travelling in the same car and were aged between 19 and 23.
