A new mobile software firm has been spun out of Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) with €500,000 in backing.

A new mobile software firm has been spun out of Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) with €500,000 in backing.

Nubiq originated in the Centre for Converged Communications Services (3CS) at WIT and has developed technology to allow people to build websites for mobile phones. It hopes to cash in on demand for information and social networking services on mobiles.
