Waterford-based software company Betapond has raised €1.15 million in funding and expects to double its staffing to 25 people over the next year.

The funding round came from the Bank of Ireland Start-up and Emerging Sectors Equity Fund, which is managed by Delta Partners. The funding announcement follows a one-year R&D agreement signed last September with the Telecommunications, Software and Systems Group at Waterford IT for its retail marketing product, with funding from Enterprise Ireland....
