Waterford all set for a major boost

Low living costs have made the city a top destination for companies looking to set up shop on the east coast, with half a billion euro of public and private investment headed south-east.

Waterford city: its population is expected to grow to 81,000 by 2040

A planned investment of almost €500 million is expected to act as a catalyst for the transformation of Waterford city. The public and private funding will be aimed at creating social, economic, tourism and infrastructure development in the largest single regeneration project in the country.
