Ireland's competition watchdog has escalated its investigation into the proposed takeover of the Dublin department store by Selfridges, the upscale British retailer owned by the Weston family.
The Competition Authority is seeking further information on the proposed deal, following a month-long examination of the competition implications of the takeover.
