Waste boss leaves €45 million in will

Padraig Thornton, a director of one of Ireland’s biggest waste and recycling companies, has left almost €45 million in his will.

Padraig Thornton, a director of one of Ireland’s biggest waste and recycling companies, has left almost €45 million in his will.

Filings at the probate office in Dublin show that Thornton, a director of the Thornton group of companies, left €44,932,082 when he died last March 29,aged 54.

Thornton, with an address at Barrockstown House in Maynooth, Co Kildare, was a director of firms including Thornton’s Waste Disposal, Thornton’s Recycling Centre and A-One Recycling...
