Warning to HSE on proposed medical equipment price cuts

The medical technology supply industry in Ireland has warned that the Health Service Executive’s demands for price cuts of up to 30 per cent are putting hundreds of jobs at risk.

The medical technology supply industry in Ireland has warned that the Health Service Executive’s demands for price cuts of up to 30 per cent are putting hundreds of jobs at risk.

Imsta, the association representing medical technology supply companies in Ireland, has sought an immediate meeting with HSE management.

The HSE is actively trying to reduce its procurement costs in an effort to manage its budget, which has been cut considerably.
