Ireland’s top cinema group is to rebrand its 17 cinemas in Britain, becoming the fifth-largest chain in the British market.

Ireland’s top cinema group is to rebrand its 17 cinemas in Britain, becoming the fifth-largest chain in the British market.

The Ward Anderson family group, which operates the IMC, Omniplex and Cineplex chains and Dublin’s landmark Savoy and Screen cinemas, recently bought the cinemas from rival operators Cineworld, UGC, Odeon and UCI in deals worth around €120 million.
