War of words continues between SIPTU and Aer Lingus

SIPTU members at Aer Lingus have reacted angrily to a claim by the company that employees may only receive 4% of their pension entitlements due to the distress of the Irish Airlines (General Employees) Superannuation Scheme (IASS).

SIPTU Sector Organiser, Dermot O’Loughlin said in a statement that union members are astounded at the “provocation and deliberate scare-mongering” in the latest statement by Aer Lingus on the pensions dispute.
