The crisp brand war is set to reignite as Walkers gears up to start a €2million advertising push in Ireland for its flagship snacks.

Garrett Quigley, managing director of PepsiCo International, conceded that the company had been relatively quiet on the marketing front in the past year, but said that was about to change as ex-footballer and Walkers regular Gary Lineker fronts a new campaign starting on March 1.
