While extravagant supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren stole all the headlines at the opening of the Geneva Motor Show earlier last week, one of the smallest debutantes at the event is arguably the most important.
It's called the Volkswagen XL1 and, in spite of the outlandish looks, this car is road-ready and will be sold to the public.
The futuristic appearance is more to do with reducing aerodynamic drag than it is any aesthetic...
