Vodafone Ireland’s next portion of network investment will be focused on improving broadband speeds in rural areas, according to the company’s chief executive, Jeroen Hoencamp.

Vodafone Ireland’s next portion of network investment will be focused on improving broadband speeds in rural areas, according to the company’s chief executive, Jeroen Hoencamp.

‘‘Speed levels will be concentrated outside the cities in rural areas,” said Hoencamp. ‘‘At the moment, they are lower, but that is our next phase.

There will be more backhaul put in place, as we have now commitments from Vodafone Group...
