Vodafone may go to court over market imbalance'
Decision prompted by European Commission’s approval of O2 and Three Mobile merger.
Vodafone Ireland could issue legal proceedings as early as this week in an attempt to force the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg) to redress what it sees as an imbalance in the Irish mobile market.
The action follows a decision by the European Commission to approve the merger of O2 and Three Mobile, which is now owned by Hong Kong financial giant Hutchison Whampoa.
