Vat refund firm cuts through red tape

Val Mills founded Global Tax Reclaim three years ago to get a slice of the €30 billion in unclaimed value added tax (Vat) in Europe.

The business helps companies to reclaim Vat from business dealings across the continent. “There's a lack of awareness among companies about what they can claim,” said Mills.

“For example, Vat on hotel bills can't be reclaimed in Ireland, but can be in most European countries.”
